Bistro 42, Bangsar Village II, Malaysia

This is a very quick post on Bistro 42 as I’m yet to eat an entire meal here, just desserts. As with the rest of the Big Group restaurants the setting is well designed and a delight to wile away a few hours. This post though is principally about the passionfruit cheesecake (white rounds in the middle of the above pic). They are just heavenly. I can’t imagine a better combination of flavours and texture – smooth, perfectly blended cream cheese with sweet but slightly tangy passionfruit. Yum!

  1. Have never tried this, since Ben's GFS and Plan B always tempt me whenever we're in Bangsar!

  2. mmmm, passion fruit is not usually one of my favorite fruits, but it sounds like it could go well with cheesecake. or maybe a smooth vanilla ice cream 😀

  3. I walk by this place every week, but have yet to step in. I'd probably get myself the large macaron. 🙂

  4. Baby Sumo: There are so many new spots around I find it hard to choose and sometimes hard to go back to old places because I can't wait to see what a new one has to offer 🙂
Sean: Passionfruit! – yes, good with ice cream also nice as a fresh juice, but Venezuelans do it best by blending it with rum 🙂
Bangsar Babe: I know what you're saying about the macaron – tempted me too!
