Levain Boulangerie Patisserie, Kuala Lumpur

Levain Boulangerie Patisserie, Kuala Lumpur

YUM! I only discovered this bakery last Saturday and I’ve already visited three times. This cafe-bakery has a mix of Asian style sweet, light breads with an assortment of fillings as well as some French style breads – hearty, crusty, chewy. Loved the rye round, cranberry and rye bread rolls and multi-grain loaf. The reason I came back three times though is for the caramel nut Danishes! – light flaky pastries with very generous helpings of macadamia, walnut and cashew nuts in a runny caramel sauce heaped on top. The place was packed all three days I visited (morning and two afternoons). It is a great place to drop by for take-away or to sit and while away the afternoon with your purchases and a coffee at one of the bright and cheery tables.
