Famous Sunday Brunch, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, Thailand

The World Gourmet Festival recently hosted by Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel culminated in a magnificent Sunday Brunch. Headed by celebrity chef Bobby Chin with dishes contributed by nine world renowned chefs also in the buffet line up, saying guests were spoiled by choice would be an understatement.

From street food favourites to fine dining luxuries diners enjoyed it all through a seemingly endless spread of food across not one, not two, not three but four restaurants! All sorts of specialties including steamed Thai dumplings and everything in between and up to seared foie gras was made a la minute at various cooking stations. And, to keep things jovial a free flow of wine, beer, cocktails and Champagne kept glasses full and the crowd animated. Here are some highlights:

  1. Bobby Chin! Wowwww!!! I’d be star struck! LOL!!!

  2. So many pricing groups!
Do you have to wear a wristband or something so they know what to serve you, I mean, rather what NOT to serve you. 😉

    • Nah, I guess it’s more based on a trust system. Maybe they have the table numbers coded. I’m sure they have a checking system in place that guests don’t even know about.

  3. i definitely would not say no to a free flow of cocktails! 🙂

  4. Very extensive spread but certainly did not expect less from such a prestige hotel

  5. Air conditioning is a must during hot weather, especially in restaurants! Nice to know there is air conditioning, and this looks like a feast for a king…and then some! Beautifully displayed, well organized, colourful and looks very tantalizing.

  6. I like the pretty entrance surrounded by greens. My favourite – mango sticky rice!

  7. Hello, sounds wonderful. Especially the free flow of drinks. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
