Yep, we have a few sweet tooths at The Yum List. Not many meals go by without some saccharine indulgence at the end. Here are our picks for the first half of 2013 for:
The Best Desserts in Kuala Lumpur
Nosh – Don’t miss their Valrhona – a chocolate lover’s dream with cocoa done not one, but three different ways
Nosh
Table 23 – their Guiness Brownie is of an intensity and richness that will make you think you need to share, but greedily covet the whole dish to yourself
Table 23
Villa Danieli – Chef Alessandro’s semi savoury Rosemary Creme Brulee creation has us drooling
Rosemary Creme Brulee, Villa Danieli
Cantaloupe – this deconstructed version of apple pie will make you appreciate each delicate piece
Dining Room, Maclister Mansion – okay so I know this post says best desserts in Kuala Lumpur but you might consider a trip to Penang for this deconstructed Cloud 9 chocolate bar.
That Valrhoha looks divine, and the Deconstructed Apple Pie looks interesting, too. Chocolate and flan? Yes please! And you've just given me yet another reason to hit up Macalister Mansion when I return to Penang.
Mmmm.. not big on sweets. But cheese.. OH YES! gimme gimme! You missed Maison Francaise – love their desserts! 😉
Yum! Nosh's Valrhona Heaven is definitely at the top of our list too!
love the look of the sabayon-kinda creme brulee, not a fan of macaroons though. Great list, shall check them out next time, thanks for sharing :]
nice list! It would be hard to choose from all the above desserts cos everyone looks delicious on their own way… 🙂
So the watermelon gazpacho from Cedar on 15 got in but not the Chocolate Seduction? Controversial…
I'm a huge mango pudding fan!
But I don't like it too sweet.
Would you still recommend China Treasures to me?
Yes, I'd recommend it. I'm not a fan of overly sweet either… Flavour should come from the fruit not the sugar! 🙂
I'd wanna try them all…. Slurpsss!!!!
omigosh, this is divine decadence indeed! the highest level of nirvana for dessert lovers 😀
Yes, please! I'll take one of each. Minus the chocolate covered bacon 😉
I like the idea from the cheese fan – best cheese plates around kl?
That Valrhoha looks divine, and the Deconstructed Apple Pie looks interesting, too. Chocolate and flan? Yes please! And you've just given me yet another reason to hit up Macalister Mansion when I return to Penang.
