There’s no escaping the day of love and, gentlemen,
you’d better be prepared to wow your sweetheart or forever pay the price in the
form of disheartened mumbles of, “It’s okay. It doesn’t really matter. We don’t
have to go out.” This is one situation
when, fellas, you better be equipped to read between the lines. No matter how
much your honey says Valentine’s Day is not important, dismissing it as just
another commercial event, she wants to feel wooed. Flowers, chocolate and a
good meal are just the basics. Here are The Yum List’s picks of where to take
your sweety for a romantic dinner:

oysters, wine and romance … looks like there might be plenty of babies born in KL come mid-september 😀
Mmm… I wonder if there are any statistics taken linking the two – I'm sure there must be somewhere. 🙂
For the lighter side, I will prefer to go for Valentine canai!

Lighter on the tummy AND on the pocket? 😉
Let's just celebrate being in love everyday! Hehehe
Good job is summarizing where to head out tomorrow including a budget friendly Valentine roti!
Ha, you know my hubby – that line came straight from his mouth!
That last option looks perfect! Now if only I could get Wendy to agree with it… 😀
Ha! Good luck with convincing her… 🙂
Valentine roti! Loves it.
This was such a great discovery for us. Little did we know it was just around the corner from our home all of these years yet we only discovered it recently.
So which one is your pick?
That's a great question. As I've tried them all, and am usually out eating every night, a real treat for me is to stay in with a home cooked dinner. I might have to go with "hubby's cooking" for my Valentine's Day. 😉
that oyster is just calling our name! as well as, of all things, that sticky-sweet valentine roti… mmmm! =P~
Oysters and roti – could be a new great fusion combo. 😉
