Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, A Luxury Stay in Thailand

Located in centre of one of the worlds’ most exciting cities, Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel is not only in a convenient location but is a truly luxurious stay. Art and nature combine in elegant design to form a beautiful retreat, resembling more of a resort than a hotel in the heart of a metropolis.

A grand lobby is adorned with hand painted silk ceilings and traditional Thai architecture, which leads up to a magnificent staircase – the perfect scene for glamour shots (as pictured below) – and sculptures and art pieces line the hallways. Grounds are lush, flourishing with native plants and even the balconies of the multi-story hotel are planted with hundreds of bougainvillea.

Our stay was in a newly renovated Premier Room offering 42 square metres of space and mirroring the elegant Thai touches seen throughout the hotel. All the standards that’d you expect of a 5 star hotel are included, but showing the desire to go above and beyond expectations, complimentary use of a smartphone is provided as well. No need to purchase expensive SIM cards or roaming services when staying here!

A spa, very well equipped gymnasium, garden-lined pool and recreation area, and boutique-shopping arcade could easily keep us from wanting to leave the hotel grounds. Backed up by a phenomenal gamut of restaurants, alongside a continuous scheduling of special events such as the World Gourmet Festival (an incredible affair with some of the world’s top chefs all under the same roof for an entire week), and the famous Sunday Brunch offering a free flow of vintage Champagne, staying in is not such a bad idea at all.

  1. What a beautiful, exquisite hotel, Monica! I love the sign with the kneeling elephant, the decor and design are very charming and inviting, not to mention elegant! I really like the lighting and furniture in the premier room, and the lush greenery outside looks very welcoming and soothing. I could see myself really enjoying a stay here! And although gymnasiums are not intriguing to me, (I prefer my long walks in nature), the pool and spice market restaurant would keep me happily busy for a while. πŸ™‚

    • Yes Linda, I too find greenery very soothing. We were lucky to find it in this hotel considering it’s location in one of Asia’s busiest cities. πŸ™‚

  2. Absolutely breathtaking. I like the look of the Spice Market Restaurant, has a nice feel to it. Love it!
