  1. Dubai certainly isn't short on 5 star plus chain hotels.
No wonder the food presentations are of such a high standard.
Reminds me of the song – "Anything you can do, I can do better".

We have been hit in Aussie-land with a blast from the South Pole.
Even snowed in the Mt.Lofty Ranges – shown on TV last night.
Stanthorpe Qld may get some flurries tonight and I am joining the
bear fraternity tomorrow as Brisbane's freeze will be from a min. 4c to
max 14c. The winds arrived last night – goes right through you.
For escaping southerners to the warmth of Bali, the airport has been closed
due to a volcano putting on a display, only just re-opened with thousands
trying to get out up there for warmth – I suppose!
Such a pity for the unfortunate weekenders from Perth – considering they
think Bali is just a suburb outside Perth for their cheap weekend jaunts – ha ha.
Out on Friday afternoon and back at work on Monday mornings – lucky buggers!

You should have gone up to Pamplona for the bull running. By the looks of T.O.H.
he would have run faster than the bulls up the streets to the bull ring???????
Cheers and send some bloody KL warm weather down here – PRONTO!

    • I heard that Melbourne recorded the coldest temperature this morning in 100 years!

    • I think it is coming up here also.
Hopefully it will get stuck at the River Tweed, but even though sunny and cloudless all day
it was as cold as if sitting on an iceberg.
      El Eskimo in waiting!

  2. Everyone smiling makes for a happy place. Food looks good..
I have phone reception after many days of not. That's Australia!

  3. Love that pot!!! Great for stews, I'm sure – nice way of serving!
