The newly opened Jaya Grocers in The Intermark has elevated the supermarket scene in the city centre, giving customers a distinctly different choice for taking care of the household chores.
Dedicated Parking
Beginning with the parking. A dedicated parking lot on the Lower Concourse Level gives direct access to the grocer doors and free parking on Sundays and public holidays or, any other day of the week with purchases above RM30. That, in my opinion is reason enough for a visit. 🙂

Who wants to go home and cook after all of that shopping? Not me. There’s a food court divided into pork-free and non-halal sections offering a variety of international cuisine for those of you who feel the same.
Non-Halal Food Court – notice all of the clocks and be sure to take note of the functioning ceiling time piece that chimes every hour!
Our favourite section is Fresco. From the supermarket you can choose your own salmon or beef steak and, the chefs at Fresco will cook it for free! (with a purchase of a side order such as a RM6 salad or mashed potato). Now to make your evening an even happier one… you can purchase wine from the grocer and consume it at Fresco too – now that’s a bargain dinner.
Hubby went all out with a grade 8 marbled Wagyu. I went for a healthier salmon steak. The chefs cooked both to perfection with a simple salt and pepper seasoning AND we didn’t have to wash any dishes. What a great way to end a session of grocery shopping.

Reason to visit: convenient free parking, good selection of international and local products, buzzing food court, meat and wine purchased in the supermarket can be cooked and drank in Fresco at no extra charge (apart from a purchase of a side dish for a tiny RM6).
