Neroteca, Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Neroteca, on the ground floor of the Somerset building in Changkat Bukit Bintang, is another Italian favourite.  I’ve not once had a disappointing meal or service here.  Everything is tasty and they take full advantage of being non-halal with sumptous pork and wine selections abundant. House made bread with balsamic vinegar and little tins of olive oil get you off to a yummy start. The cold cuts and cheese platters are popular openers, as too are the prosciutto wrapped melon and a house salad that would leave many with room for no more. For mains you can’t go wrong with  anything including pork such as the pictured Valdostana – Pan fried pork loin topped with honey ham and Fontina cheese served with own jus and asparagus. I’ve never made it through to dessert so if you do, please let us know what to eat.  Currently with the American Express Platinum card you receive 50% food when dining in two.
